Traces of ancient civilization to be searched in Ad?yaman
Excavation activities at the archaeological site in the ancient city of Perge, which was one of the centers of the Kommagene civilization, will soon commence with the aim of opening up the site for tourism. Excavations will begin soon in the ancient city, located in the southeastern province of Ad?yaman, five kilometers away from the city center.
Mystery of Antiochus head still unsolved
Video footage, coincidentally found by a Turkish collector in a German flea market, which shows excavations on Mount Nemrut in 1965, as well as the life of locals in the region, has revealed a big scandal. The sculpted head of the King of Commagene, King Antiochus, which is now at the Gaziantep Zeugma Museum, was seized while being smuggled abroad by a German.

Footage of Nemrut works discovered in Germany flea market
In a flea market in Germany, footage has been found of the excavations on Mount Nemrut from 1965, as well as the life of locals in the region.
Researcher ?enol ?ahin Çörekçi, who lives in Germany, said the footage of the Nemrut excavations, which had been found coincidentally by a Turkish collector, was transferred to the digital environment and brought to Turkey.

Mount Nemrut, a world-heritage site in the southeastern province of Adıyaman, will be promoted in the virtual environment with android applications.

Panoramic museum for Nemrut sculptures
Huge sculptures on the world heritage site Mount Nemrut, which have been exposed to open air for more than 2,000 years, will survive with a panorama museum. Imitations of the sculptures will be made for the museum in the case they disappear someday because of climate conditions.
