Massive anti-gov't march led by former presidents in Poland
BELGRADE - A massive anti-government rally was held in the Polish capital of Warsaw and many other cities throughout Poland on the anniversary of the country's first free elections that ended the Communist era. The Warsaw march was led by two former Polish presidents.
Protesters take to Polish streets to 'defend freedom'
Thousands of people took to the streets in more than 30 cities across Poland on Jan. 23 to "defend freedom" and protest against the conservative government.
"We are not revolutionaries," said Mateusz Kijowski, founder of the Committee for the Defence of Democracy (KOD) which organized the demonstrations.

Polish citizens took to the streets of more than 20 cities on Sunday to demonstrate against moves by the recently elected government to reform the country's top court.
Alongside Warsaw, protests were held in Pozna?, Gda?sk, Wroc?aw, Lublin, Kraków, Katowice and Tarnów, and many other places, Radio Poland reports.
