Renault, Oyak to invest 400 mln euros in Bursa plant
Carmaker Renault plans to produce new model cars at the Bursa plant with up to 400 million euros of investment together with its local partner Oyak.
The plan foresees the manufacturing of four new models by 2027, including three SUVs.
Nissan recalling more than 236,000 cars
Nissan is recalling more than 236,000 small cars in the U.S. because the tie rods in front suspension can bend and break, possibly causing drivers to lose steering control.
The recall covers certain Sentra compact cars from the 2020 through 2022 model years.
Tie rods help vehicles move the wheels for steering.

Peugeot 308 voted Slovenian car of 2023
The Peugeot 308 has been voted the Slovenian Car of 2023 ahead of the Opel Astra and the Toyota Corolla Cross.
The winner, selected in a vote by Slovenian automotive journalists and readers, was announced at a ceremony at the caravan maker Adria Mobil in Novo Mesto on 15 January.

Princess Diana’s sporty Ford Escort sells for $866,000
A sporty Ford Escort that was once Princess Diana's runabout sold at auction for 737,000 pounds ($866,000) on Aug. 27, a few days before the 25th anniversary of her death.
The modest car, with just 24,961 miles (40,000 km) on the clock, went under the hammer at Silverstone Auctions in Warwickshire in central England.
