President: Bulgaria Has Potential to Develop in Field of Innovations
According to President Rosen Plevneliev, the achievements of Bulgaria in the field of innovations are forthcoming and the country has great potential to develop in this sphere.
Plevneliev said this during his participation at the eleventh edition of the national innovation forum entitled "Development of an innovation environment for a sustainable economic growth in Bulgaria".
Business environment "improves considerably"
The Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) on Wednesday presented the results of the fifth annual survey of 1,000 businesses.
The report "showed areas where progress has been made and where there are still obstacles to improving competitiveness and economic growth in Serbia," Tanjug reported.

"Inflation biggest improvement in macroeconomic indicators"
The largest improvement in Serbia’s macroeconomic indicators was recorded for inflation, the NBS said, quoting the WEF Global Competitiveness Report 2014-2015.
The country moved in a shot from 127th to 1st position in terms of this criterion, according to the central bank.
Turkey drops six places in world competitiveness report
Turkey has declined six places to 51st out of 140 economies in this year's World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Competitiveness Index, mainly due to the deterioration in the country's institutional structure and rising political uncertainties holding back private investments.

The World Economic Forum report released on Wednesday ranks Greece as 81st in the Global Competitiveness Report 2015-2016.

Bulgaria Boasts 261 Business Clusters, 150 of them Sofia-based
Mladen Mladenov, Executive Director of the Association of Business Clusters (ABC), has said that a total of 261 clusters have been registered in Bulgaria so far.
Bulgaria Ranked 55th Out of 61 Competitive Economies
In 2015, Bulgaria has been ranked on the 55th spot in terms of competitiveness indicators, thus showing a slight improvement from last year's 56th spot.
The data has been released by the Yearbook of World Competitiveness, administered by the Swiss International Institute for Management Development (IMD).
