Partial Election Annulment Sought by Bulgarian Parties Amid Claims of Violations

In a statement, Toshko Yordanov from "There Is Such a People" (TISP) announced that the party is submitting a complaint to the Constitutional Court seeking partial annulment of the recent elections in Bulgaria. The complaint, which will be filed within 20 minutes, has gathered 67 signatures, surpassing the minimum requirement of 48.

Mother of Turkish man killed by police on trial for harming suspect's lawyer's watch

The mother of a Turkish man killed by a police officer in 2014 in Istanbul has gone on trial over damaging the watch of the police officer's lawyer watch. 

Uğur Kurt was killed by a bullet fired from police officer Sezgin Korkmaz's weapon on May 22, 2014, while he was attending the funeral of a relative in an Alevi worship house, or cemevi, in Istanbul's Okmeydanı district. 

Montenegrin News Magazine Battles Libel Conviction

Independent weekly Monitor has filed a constitutional complaint after the Montenegrin court ruled that the magazine is obliged to pay 5,000 euros in damages to Djukanovic's sister, lawyer Ana Kolarevic, for articles in which she was linked to corruption during the privatisation of the state-owned Telekom company in 2005.
