Turkey's steel giant establishes joint venture with US company in metal recycling
Turkey's Tosyalı Holding has announced that it has established a joint venture with American industrial giant Harsco Corp in metal recycling and slag sales at its steel facilities in the southern province of Osmaniye.
Breaking the cycle
It is a huge development that Greece managed to achieve such a high budget surplus, and especially in light of the economic pressures it continues to find itself under to this day.
That said, it needs to be noted that this over-performance was achieved thanks to overtaxation, to measures for cutting costs and to slashed expenditures.

Amazing underwater museum (photos-video)
British artist Jason DeCaires Taylor has created what is the first underwater museum in Europe.
An exhibition of 300 works of art, all in concrete have been taken to their new ‘home’ the Atlantic Museum Lanzarote which was opened this week.

Turkey sealing Syrian border with giant wall
The Housing Development Administration of Turkey (TOKİ) has undertaken the construction of the remaining 700 kilometers of the wall being built on Turkey's border with war-torn Syria, after the construction of the initial 200-kilometer-long concrete wall on the border was completed jointly by the Defense Ministry and neighboring provinces governor's offices.

Çe?me creates artificial reef and diving center
The Çe?me Artificial Reef project, which was initiated 10 years ago as an attraction for divers and to increase the number of fish, has begun to come to life.
In the first step of the project, 50 concrete blocks were left off Karada (E?ekada) Island on March 15.
E?me District Gov. Mustafa Erkay?ran said their goal was to establish an underwater city in the district.

Turkey's company plans up to 1 bln euro African acquisition
Turkey's Limak Cement is in talks on the acquisition of cement operations in Africa which could be worth up to 1 billion euros ($1 billion), a senior executive told Reuters, though there was no certainty a deal would be agreed.
