The U.S. military on Feb. 10 disclosed a more than 50 percent jump in cases of traumatic brain injury stemming from Iran's missile attack on a base in Iraq last month, with the number of service members diagnosed climbing to over 100.

The US State Department evacuated at least two diplomats in China following a mysterious illness experienced after hearing strange noises—the latest in a series of unexplained sicknesses that have hit American diplomats and their family members in recent years.

At least 16 US civil servants were injured after a possible sound attack on US Embassy staff in Cuba. This was reported by the State Department, quoted by the US media.

It is specified that the symptoms of the victims range from hearing loss to "minor damage to the brain", which may include a concussion or a headache.

A spokeswoman said the attacks seem to have been suspended.
