Construction permit

VRANJE - It is estimated that over 1,000 construction permits have been issued in Serbia through a unified procedure for permit issuance within the maximum period of 28 days which was introduced almost two months ago, Serbian Minister of Construction Zorana Mihajlovic stated on Friday.

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic stated on Wednesday that 58 construction permits have been issued in the course of one month.

Law on Planning and Construction takes full effect

BELGRADE -- The Law on Planning and Construction, which will allow for issuing construction permits in less than a month, took full effect on Wednesday.

BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament adopted by a majority vote on Monday the amendments to the Law on planning and Construction which make it possible to obtain all necessary permits at a single counter in 28 days and building permits in five days.

Prior to the adoption of the amendments, it took 240 days to obtain all the documents.

BELGRADE - Draft amendments to the law on planning and construction, which would shorten timeframes for issuing building permits, will be up for public debate soon, and are expected to be passed in August, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic said on Thursday.

BELGRADE - Serbia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic said on Thursday the parliament would adopt the new law on planning and construction in July or August at the latest, and that construction permits would be issued within 28 days before the end of the year.
