Reading winger Adrian Popa will mark his two-year Royals anniversary in Bulgaria, with reigning champions Ludogorets Razgrad, report the BBC. 

Popa joined the Championship side from Romanian giants Steaua Bucharest in January 2017 but has spent his Reading career largely out of favour.

"Ludogorets" suffered a heavy loss of 0: 3 in their home against "Milan" in their first 1/16-final match in Europa League. This almost puts an end to the hopes of the Razgrad players that they will continue in the tournament.

Bulgaria's reigning football champion Ludogorets signed on Thursday a contract with the Romanian striker Claudiu Keseru for three years.

The 28-year-old Romanian started his career at his hometown club - Bihor Oradea before moving to France, where he competed for the teams of Nantes, Libourne, Tours, Angers and Bastia.

Bulgaria's reigning football champion signed a two-year contract with the captain of Steaua Bucuresti - Andrei Prepelita.

Prepelita, who plays as midfielder, started his senior career at Arges Pitesti before moving to Universitatea Craiova.

Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov and Regional Minister Lilyana Pavlova had been invited to attend the opening ceremony, daily Dnevnik reports.

The goalkeeper of Ludogorets Vladislav Stoyanov was declared the best Bulgarian football player of 2014.

Stoyanov was presented with the "Bulgarian Footballer of the Year" award at a ceremony in the Military Club in Sofia on Tuesday, daily Dnevnik reports.
