Over 900 Covid-19 cases confirmed on Thursday

Ljubljana – Slovenia confirmed 909 new cases of Covid-19 on Thursday, up more than 40% on the week before, as the growth seen over the past two weeks continued. The number of patients hospitalised with Covid as their primary condition decreased by one at ordinary care units to 28 and by three at intensive care units to eight, Health Ministry data shows.

Covid case count up by 33% week-on-week

Ljubljana – Slovenia reported 838 new coronavirus infections for Monday, up by 33% in weekly comparison, in what continues to be a steady increase in Covid cases. The total of patients treated for Covid-19 as their main condition in hospitals is at 37, including five in intensive care, shows data by the Health Ministry. No Covid-related deaths were reported yesterday.

New coronavirus cases down daily, weekly

Ljubljana – A total of 393 coronavirus infections were confirmed in Slovenia on Tuesday, a drop of 46% from Monday and of 38% from a week ago. There were no deaths, fresh data shows. Health Ministry data shows there are currently 34 Covid-19 patients at regular Covid wards, down four from yesterday, and two in intensive care, three fewer.

More than 1,300 new coronavirus cases, seven Covid-19 deaths

Ljubljana – A total of 1,324 new coronavirus infections were confirmed in Slovenia on Wednesday in 6,703 PCR tests, with the positivity rate down slightly. Total hospitalisations were down, but there were more people in intensive care this morning than on the day before. Seven patients with Covid-19 died.

1,393 new coronavirus infections recorded on Monday

Ljubljana – The number of new coronavirus cases continues to rise in Slovenia, with 1,393 infections being detected on Monday, which is up 59% from a week ago and the highest daily figure since 7 April. There are now more than 10,640 active cases in the country, according to estimates by the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ). Three patients died.
