Turkey's Fiba has not put Russian bank up for sale: Board member

The Fiba Group has not put its Russian banking unit Credit Europe Bank up for sale, Fiba board member Murat Özye?in said on Feb. 11, stressing that the company has "good relations" with the Russian government.

"We do not have any problems with Russia. We have not seen any pressure from Russia either. We are not planning to sell our banking unit," Özye?in said, as quoted by Reuters.

Finansbank secures syndicated loan worth $845 mln

Turkey's Finansbank, owned by National Bank of Greece, said on Tuesday it secured a syndicated loan in two tranches of $397 million and 356 million euro ($442.6 million).

The loans will be used to finance foreign trade and has a maturity of 1 year, said the statement to the Istanbul stock exchange. [Reuters]

NBG-owned Finansbank looks into possible secondary public offering

Turkey's Finansbank, which is owned by National Bank of Greece, said on Friday it had begun work on a possible secondary public offering of its shares.

It said in a statement to the Istanbul stock exchange that it planned to mandate investment banks and brokerages on the subject in the coming period.
