Fishermen turn to Strasbourg court over Croatian fines
Slovenian fishermen whom Croatia has been fining for fishing in waters that a border arbitration tribunal awarded to Slovenia in 2017 have turned to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) in Strasbourg after exhausting all legal possibilities for an appeal in Croatia.

She was speaking in the context of the international arbitration ruling in the maritime border dispute with Slovenia that Croatia rejects, and Slovenia intends to implement.
Slovenia Preparing to Sue Croatia
Slovenian Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec said that Ljubljana was preparing to file a lawsuit in the EU court against Zagreb due to Croatia's non-compliance with the decision of the Permanent Court of Arbitration as for the borders between the two nations.

Croatia, Slovenia Leaders To Discuss Gulf Dispute
Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic and his Slovenian counterpart, Miro Cerar, meeting in New York for the UN General Assembly session, agreed to meet again in Zagreb on September 27 to discuss the dispute over the territorial waters between Croatia and Slovenia in the Piran Gulf.

Balkan chocolate wars spreads: Slovenia finds Croatia's chocolates not very sweet
BELGRADE - Earlier this month, the Croatian Embassy in Slovenia sent leading Slovenian officials — including officials in the offices of the prime minister and the president — boxes of chocolates with labels reading "Greetings from Croatia."

Slovenia Delays Repaying Bosnians' Lost Savings
Former clients of Ljubljanska Banka, which closed its operations in all the other Yugoslav countries in 1991 without repaying the savings of some 300,000 people outside Slovenia, told BIRN that they have still not been reimbursed despite a European Court of Human Rights ruling last year.
