US tech titans look to ditch passwords
Apple, Google and Microsoft said Thursday they are looking to get rid of passwords and replace them with a more secure way to access accounts or devices.
The U.S. tech titans jointly announced support for a common standard that will let people sign in by unlocking their mobile phones, say, with fingerprint or face recognition.

Bitcoin's rise following Markets; Altcoins' Progress
Bitcoin rose 1.4% on Tuesday, ending the day around $41,300 and remaining near that mark on Wednesday morning. Ethereum added 1.3% to $3080 in the last 24 hours, XRP corrected 0.9% to 0.766, and other top ten altcoins gained 0.7% (BNB) to 4.9% (Terra).
Ethereum co-founder lands in Istanbul
Vitalik Buterin, a Russian-born Canadian programmer and one of the co-founders of cryptocurrency Ethereum, has landed in Istanbul, a Turkish influencer on board the same plane with Buterin announced on April 11.
"Fellas! No Joke! But yes, Vitalik Buterin," Orkun Işıtmak wrote in a social media post with a photo of him with Buterin at Istanbul Airport.
