Bullets addressed to top revenue official intercepted
Officials at the main post office in Faliro, southern Athens, intercepted an envelope containing three bullets addressed to the general secretary of public revenue, Giorgos Pitsilis, authorities said on Tuesday.
The envelope, which did not carry the sender's name or address, was discovered at 2.30 p.m. at the sorting office.

21,950,000 cigarettes without excise revenue stamps found, impounded in International Police Operation which started back in 2015, the Interior Ministry said in a press release on Thursday, according to BNR.
The operation cracked down on an international organized criminal group involved in contraband trade in tobacco.

Heavy Traffic at Makaza Border Checkpoint
Traffic is heavy at the Makaza border checkpoint with Greece.
The queue is about 1 and a half kilometres but it is expected to grow in the next few hours.
The Chief of the Sofia Traffic Police Tencho Tenev stated that around 100,000 vehicles are expected to leave Sofia over the next few days.

The government of New Zealand presented a long list of forty alternative flag designs, which will be competing to become the new banner of the country.
The Flag Consideration Project foresees the holding of two referendums, which will determine whether New Zealand will keep its current banner or choose one of the alternative flag designs.
