Overnight across Bulgaria, skies will generally be clear with light to moderate south-southeasterly winds prevailing, except for North-Eastern Bulgaria where occasional cloud cover and brief rain showers are expected.

Today will be sunny with temperatures reaching 35°C. In the afternoon, cumulus and cumulus-rain clouds will form over the mountainous regions in the western part of the country, bringing rain to some areas with the possibility of thunder. A light breeze will come from the western quarter.

Rainfall and thunderstorms are expected today, with a yellow code warning in effect for rain, thunder, and potential hail in 10 regions of Central and Southern Bulgaria. The regions affected include Kardjali, Smolyan, Haskovo, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Sliven, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Lovech, and Targovishte. Localized flooding is possible.

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued a yellow code alert for intense rainfall in 13 regions of Bulgaria. The warning applies to Montana, Vratsa, Lovech, Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Plovdiv, Pazardzhik, Sofia-region, Sofia-city, Pernik, Kyustendil, Blagoevgrad, and Smolyan.

As the night progresses, Western Bulgaria will see an increase in cloud cover, with light rainfall expected in some areas, particularly after midnight. Meanwhile, Eastern Bulgaria will experience clear skies with no precipitation anticipated.

A light to moderate wind will blow from the east-northeast. Maximum temperatures in most areas will be between 31°C and 36°C, in Sofia - around 32°C, along the Black Sea - from 27°C to 29°C.

The wind will be moderate, in the Danube plain it will temporarily be oriented from the west-northwest, while in the eastern regions of Bulgaria, it will remain from the south-southeast.
