New free trade deals, update in Customs Union deal to jumpstart Turkish economy in 2017: Minister
An update in Turkey's Customs Union deal with the EU and the signing of new free trade deals with other countries will help Ankara overcome its economic slowdown in 2017, Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci has said.
Speaking at parliament during annual budget debates, Zeybekci cited both external and domestic causes of the recent decline in the value of the Turkish Lira.
Bulgarian Customs To Become Electronic by 2020
Bulgarian customs are to become fully electronic by 2020 and customs officials are to become a digital administration.
This is envisaged in the strategy E-Customs 2016-2020, proposed by Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov. The document contains a road map of stages and deadlines.

Turkey To Re-Negotiate Customs Union With EU
Turkey will bring up the customs union deal for re-negotiation with the European Union by June, Turkey's Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci said.
“By June, we’re going to re-open for negotiation the Customs Union Agreement, to which no sovereign independent state should agree,” Zeybekci said at a meeting with Turkish businesspeople, quoted by Hurryiet Daily News.
