TRNC President Tatar blasts Greek Cypriot leader for NATO statement

Turkish Republic of Northern Cypress (TRNC) President Ersin Tatar blasted Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Christodoulidis, who recently brought up NATO membership issues.

Christodoulidis said the alliance is not like the EU and Türkiye will not allow arbitrary political decisions to be taken.

Cyprus offers to assist with Lebanon ceasefire

Cyprus is willing to assist in any way possible in helping implement a ceasefire brokered between Lebanon and Israel, its government said on Wednesday.

Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides spoke by phone with Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Wednesday, a statement from the government spokesperson's office said.
