ACAROM: National car production grows 7.71 pct in February and exceeds 48,000 units
Over 48,000 cars were produced in Romania in February this year, showing an increase of 7.71 pct, compared to the same period of 2019, reveal the statistics published by the Association of Automobile Manufacturers of Romania (ACAROM).
Dacia selling new Logan Stepway at starting prices of 10,250 euros
The new Dacia Logan Stepway model was released today by Automobile Dacia on the online sales platform of the company vanzari.dacia.ro. Starting in December the model will be available at all Dacia dealerships in Romania, Dacia Automobile reported on Thursday. The model is available in 3 engine variants: TCe 90 (petrol), Blue dCi 75 (diesel) and Blue dCi 95 (diesel).

Used car transactions in Romania (re-registrations) had the best first quarter of the last 10 years, with an average of nearly 52,000 cars sold monthly, while the market for new cars increased by 25 percent in the first quarter as compared to the same period in 2018, reveals a specialized analysis drawn up by the representatives of an online car sales platform.
Dacia 2018 sales hit all-time high of 700,798 units
Carmaker Dacia had in 2018 the best commercial performance in its history, with sales on the domestic and international market totaling 700,798 units, up 7 pct from the previous year, the car manufacturer said in a release on Friday.

The showcased models are Logan MCV, Lodgy Stepway, Sandero, Sandero Stepway and Duster, with the latest including the new 1.3 TCe petrol engine introduced in Paris.
