Relocation of nine ministries and 14,500 civil servants is getting under way
The public-private partnership (PPP) project for the relocation of ministries and state agencies to the facilities of former PYRKAL factory in the suburb of Ymittos is about to be proclaimed, providing for the relocation of some 14,500 civil servants out of the center of Athens and other areas.
High school student dies after falling off a terrace
A 17-year-old girl lost her life after falling from a terrace of a six-story building on Monday afternoon in the suburban town of Dafni, Attica.
Police are investigating the circumstances of her death and considering the possibility of suicide.
Tender for government park
The tender for the Andreas Lentakis Government Park project will begin in the first quarter of the year, at the facilities of now-defunct Pyrkal plant in the Municipality of Dafni-Ymittos, southern Athens, where nine ministries are planned to relocate.

Projects shelved in favor of Thessaly reconstruction
