Turkey Detains 304 Troops in Operation Against Alleged ‘Gulenists’

Prosecutors in the city of Izmir ordered the arrests because of the suspects' alleged of links to US-based cleric Fethullah Gulen, who is accused by Ankara of mounting a failed coup in 2016.

Doğan Group Ankara Administrative Representative Barbaros Muratoglu was arrested late on Dec. 15 following his interrogation at the Istanbul 9th Criminal Court Peace over charges of "aiding the armed Fethullahist Terror Organization [FETÖ]," after being held in custody for 14 days.

Bulgaria Refuses to Hand Over Gülen Supporter to Turkey

A man linked to the movement of US-based cleric Fethullah Gülen will not be extradited to Turkey, a Bulgarian court has ruled.

Abdullah Büyük is a businessman who owns a domain name registration company and has demanded political asylum in Bulgaria, being sought for "terrorism" charges, private NOVA TV station reports.

When a physical attack was not enough, the justice weapon has now turned to daily Hürriyet. The target is freedom of expression and freedom of the press.
