China launches probe into EU dairy products
Beijing on Wednesday launched a probe into EU subsidies of some dairy products imported into China, the day after the bloc said it planned to impose five-year import duties of up to 36 percent on Chinese electric vehicles (EVs).

The Annual Inflation in Bulgaria falls below 10%
For June, inflation in Bulgaria decreased to 8.7 percent compared to a year earlier and for the month a deflation of minus 0.4 percent was reported, i.e. prices decrease compared to the month of May. This is the second time this has happened since the beginning of this year.

"100 percent will be the mark-up of a kilogram of ordinary mass cheese compared to last year," said a dairy producer in the Targovishte village of Davidovo. The dairy also produces boutique cheese with truffles.
Turkey says export of dairy products to China will resume
Turkey's exports of milk and other dairy products to China will resume, Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan said on May 21 and added that 54 Turkish companies will be able to export to China.
In a tweet, Pekcan said she welcomed the Chinese dairy market opening to Turkish exporters, after Chinese authorities deemed Turkey an exportable country.

Japanese dairy products maker Meiji has expressed interest in investing in Bulgaria's southwestern region of Petrich, according to a media statement of the Petrich Municipality.
Bulgaria's Deputy Economy Minister Lyuben Petrov met with representatives of Meiji in Sofia in early March.
Bosnia Urged to Reform to Overcome Export Curbs
Renzo Daviddi, the deputy head of EU Delegation, said Thursday that the country has to raise standards and adopt the necessary veterinary and food safety legislation to be allowed to export milk to the EU.
Daviddi said there were a lot of technical issues to be solved by various institutions but political will was needed to make a breakthrough.
