British artist Jesse Darling won the prestigious Turner Prize on Dec. 5 for his sculptures and installations that invoke societal breakdown.

The 41-year-old, who now lives in Berlin, pipped Ghislaine Leung, Rory Pilgrim and Barbara Walker to the £25,000 ($30,000) award.

The Connor Brothers enthusiastic British artists, who compete with Banksy - an anonymous England-based street artist, present an exhibition at Oborishte 5 Gallery in Sofia.

They are known in the art as the mysterious American twins, but they are not actually brothers or artists, but art dealers.

OBORISHTE 5 Gallery and Hall is the newest art space in Sofia. It combines classic with modernity and it is hosting many top exhibitions and also events. The gallery opened its doors last night with an exhibition by American artist Stephen Wilson.

According to verifiable information, a private transaction took place in London, amounting to around 300 million USD. A Paul Gauguin painting was sold. The piece of art is dated 1892 and is titled “Nafea Faa Ipoipo” (“When will you Marry?”)
