Türkiye, Bulgaria to build bridge over Rezve Stream
Türkiye and Bulgaria have agreed to build a bridge over the Rezve Stream near a border region between the two countries, Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu has announced.

Pakistan's flooded southern Sindh province braced Sunday for a fresh deluge from swollen rivers in the north as the death toll from this year's monsoon topped 1,000.
The mighty Indus River that courses through Pakistan's second-most populous region is fed by dozens of mountain tributaries to the north, but many have burst their banks following record rains and glacier melt.
Water level rises to record level in Istanbul dams
Water levels in the dams supplying Istanbul have reached 84 percent, the highest rate measured in the last 12 months, thanks to the latest rainfalls.
Data from the Istanbul Water and Sewage Administration (İSKİ) showed that the rise in the water level reached 5 percent in one week.

Acceleration of works in Acheloos river basin
With the fast track negotiation process, and without prior publication, the project concerning the constructions for the security of the existing unfinished infrastructure to the diversion projects of Acheloos as well as the implementation of a monitoring plan for the safety of the unfinished projects of the Sykia Dam was contracted out.

Water level rises to 65 percent in Istanbul dams
Recent snowfall has been good news for Turkey's most crowded metropolis of Istanbul, as the province was troubled by drought fears last year.
Water levels in the dams supplying the city have reached 64.66 percent thanks to the precipitation and melting of snowdrifts.

Turkish Robinson lives on dam lake island
A 83-year-old man has been living on an isolated island on the Lake Keban Dam in Turkey's east, with the locals calling the lonely elderly "Robinson," likening him to "Robinson Cruseo," the fictional novel character by 18th century English author Daniel Defoe.
