Serbia will not allow cultivation of GMO seed on its fields, State Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture Danilo Golubovic said on Monday.

This is the official stand of the current government and it will not be changed by any law for as long as it is in office, Golubovic told Tanjug.

BERLIN- Serbia is among a small number of SEE countries running a trade surplus in agricultural and food products, State Secretary at the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection Danilo Golubovic said Monday, addressing the Agricultural Ministers' Summit in Berlin.

BELGRADE - Chinese partners are planning major investments in Serbia's agriculture and the summit of leaders of China and countries of central and eastern Europe (CEE) is very important as it can give impetus to such investment activities, State Secretary at the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection Danilo Golubovic has said.
