The U.N. Security Council is scheduled to vote on Wednesday on a new draft resolution urging a ceasefire in Gaza, reflecting ongoing efforts to prompt an end to the current conflict.

Turkey condemns Israel's attacks targeting the UN peacekeepers in Lebanon (UNIFIL), its Foreign Ministry said late on Thursday, adding Ankara would continue supporting similar peacekeeping initiatives and structures.

Israel plans to follow the example of the United States and leave UNESCO, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, reports Sega.
