Monument honouring emperor Nicholas in Belgrade
BELGRADE - The monument honouring the last Russian emperor Nicholas Romanov was placed in the Devojacki Park in Belgrade on Monday at the spot where the Russian representative office stood during the Dukedom of Serbia.
The 7.5 metres high monument with the pedestal weighs over 40 tons and the sculpture itself is around 3.5 metres high.

If I were to use the academic language of Prime Minister Ahmet DavutoÄlu, I would say my criticism comprises one item only. But it does have two clauses, both of which include objections to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

21st European Film Festival Palic to kick off on Saturday

Cannes Festival winner ‘Winter Sleep’ comes to silver screen soon
Turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylanâs latest film, âKıŠUykusuâ (Winter Sleep), which won the coveted Palme dâOr prize at the Cannes Film Festival on May 24, will come to movie theaters on June 13.
Starring Haluk Bilginer, Melisa Sözen and Demet AkbaÄ, the film will be released in 150 halls in 123 movie theaters in 39 cities.
