Six more migrant children drown in Aegean off Turkey

Six more migrant children drowned in two separate boat capsizing incidents in the Aegean Sea on Dec. 16. 

Two Iraqi children, aged six and two, were found dead off the Turkish resort town of Çe?me after trying to reach EU member Greece.

The bodies of the two children were found floating in the sea by local fishermen who then handed them over to the ?zmir coastguard.

At least 22 migrants drown as boat capsizes in Aegean Sea

At least 22 migrants, including four children, have drowned while 211 migrants have been rescued after a Kos-bound boat capsized in the Aegean Sea. 

The 20-meter wooden boat, which was also used for boat tours, capsized at around 6 a.m. on Sept. 15 off the coast of Turkey's southwestern Datça district.

Six Syrian migrants die after boat to Greece sinks in Aegean

Six Syrian migrants died after their boat to Greece sank in the Aegean Sea on July 16, while 10 others were rescued. 

A migrant boat, which set sail from the northwestern province of Çanakkale on its way to Greece's Lesbos Island, sank off Çanakkale's Ayvac?k district on July 16, killing six people.
