Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s latest film “Kış Uykusu” (Winter Sleep), which won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival on May 24 and was released in Turkish movie theaters on June 13, drew over 237,000 viewers in its first month, becoming Ceylan’s most-watched film, according to the Turkish Box Office.

The 42nd Istanbul Music Festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (Ä°KSV) under the sponsorship of Borusan Holding, is in its final week.

Director Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s Palme d’Or Award winning film “Kış Uykusu” (Winter Sleep) made its gala on June 12 at Kanyon Shopping Mall, with the attendence of many renowned figures from the Turkish cinema scene.
