Democrats Abroad Greece invites American citizens and their families to celebrate U.S. Independence Day on July 4 at Marathon Beach in Nea Makri. The event costs 25 euros and includes swimming, a US-inspired menu, cake, sparklers, and a chance to make new friends and talk politics. A free bus departs from Doukisis Plakentias metro station at 6:15 p.m.

Democrats Abroad Greece opens voting center Sunday

Democrats Abroad Greece will be running a voting center this Sunday to help Americans living in Athens cast their votes in the Global Presidential Primary, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at The Athens Center, 48 Archimidous, Mets.

Democrats Abroad is the official Democratic Party arm for the millions of Americans living outside the United States.

Democrats Abroad organize primary in Athens and Thessaloniki

The Democrats Abroad Global Presidential Primary kicks off on March 5, as Democrats Abroad members around the world participate in selecting the Democratic Party candidate for president for the 2024 General Election this November.

Democrats Abroad Greece will run two voting centres to help Americans living in Greece cast their votes.

Democrats Abroad organize primary in Athens

As the race to determine the Democratic Party's presidential candidate narrows, the voice of overseas Americans could well be decisive. Those Americans who have not already voted in their state's Democratic primary, are urged to visit the King George Hotel in Syntagma Square, Athens, on Sunday, March 8, 12-5 p.m., to vote in the Global Presidential Primary.

Democrats Abroad Greece is organizing a US Presidential Election Watch Party at a hotel in Athens on Tuesday, November 8. The event includes live streaming from experts reviewing the presidential race as well as key seats at the US Senate and House of Representatives. While US citizenship is not required for attendance, pre-registration and payment upon arrival are required.
