Djokovic through to Geneva third round

GENEVA - Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the third round of the Geneva ATP tournament after a 6-3, 6-3 win over German Yannick Hanfmann on Wednesday evening.

Djokovic, who won after an hour and 12 minutes of play, will next face the winner of the tie between Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor and Canadian Denis Shapovalov.

Djokovic beats Shapovalov, to face Medvedev in Adelaide semis

ADELAIDE - Serbia's top-ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the semi-finals of the Adelaide ATP tournament after defeating Canadian Denis Shapovalov 6-3, 6-4 on Friday.

Djokovic now has an 8-0 head-to-head record against Shapovalov.

Medvedev loses to Simon again, Tsitsipas into Open 13 semis

Daniil Medvedev still can't find a way to beat Gilles Simon, losing 6-4, 6-0 in the Open 13 quarterfinals on Friday for a third loss in three matches against the French veteran.

The US Open runner-up and top seed in Marseille dropped his serve five times against the 35-year-old Simon, after breaking him in the first game.
