High-speed ferry to link Thessaloniki to Sporades islands in summer
The northern port city of Thessaloniki will be linked to the Sporades chain of islands in the central Aegean with a high-speed catamaran from June 16 until September 25, the Hellenic Seaways shipping company said on Wednesday.
The route will be covered in just under three hours by the Flying Cat 4 with a passenger capacity of 440 and an average speed of 40 knots.
