Mediha Didem Türemen, a Turkish artist known for her interdisciplinary work in cinema, photography and engraving, has been honored at the 2024 Peru Biennial in Lima.

Türemen, who is also the producer of Nuri Bilge Ceylan's 2023 Cannes Film Festival competitor "Kuru Otlar Üstüne" (About Dry Grasses) also participated in a conference held as part of the Biennial.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has dismissed a criminal complaint against Turkish model Didem Soydan who faced accusations of making propaganda for a terrorist organization over a post on her Instagram account.

Mixer is presenting Mediha Didem Türemen's second solo exhibition, 'Myths,' at the historical Adahan cistern in Istanbul. The exhibition focuses on depicting an imaginary timeframe that could not be captured by photography, and will continue until April 23.

The Kokotos Estate, located north of Athens, will be presenting a selection of its wines at the Locus Athens art space in the city center on Wednesday, February 22.

The Young Society Leaders, an arm of the American Turkish Association, gathered at Istanbul’s Sabancı Center on June 20.
