Romanian Suspected of Audacious Cryptocurrency Theft Arrested
A tribunal in Iasi in northeastern Romania has ordered the pre-trial detention of 30 days for a man arrested last Thursday for allegedly stealing half a million euros in crypto from a leading cryptocurrency operator, sources from the organised crime prosecution office told BIRN.

Turkish Treasury conducting study on cryptocurrencies
Turkey's Treasury and Finance Ministry is carrying out a study on cryptocurrencies amid recent debate over Bitcoin.
In a press release on Monday, the ministry said it is collaborating with the Turkish Central Bank, the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency, and the Capital Markets Board in its research.

ID Papers Forgery Ring Busted in Bulgaria - Prosecutor General
"Illicit trade in forged US and Bulgarian ID documents has been intercepted," Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev wrote on Twitter.
The operation was carried out by the Prosecutor's Office and the GDBOP (organized crime task force) and targeted crimes in cyberspace.
The Prosecutor General also noted that "fighting cybercrime is a challenge that we successfully tackle."
