Minister announces changes to digital inclusion act
Ljubljana – The Government Office for Digital Transformation is drawing up changes to the act on digital inclusion, which introduced digital vouchers for students and the elderly. Under the act adopted under the previous government, most money would go for digital equipment, while this government plans to allocate more money for digital literacy courses.

Ljubljana – Digital skills of Slovenians are quite developed, shows an analysis by the national Statistics Office. Digital literacy is lowest among the elderly (65 to 74) and the unemployed. The country is still lacking in digital and data literacy and using ICT compared to the rest of the EU.
MPs pass systemic bill to promote digital literacy
Ljubljana – The National Assembly passed on Monday a bill to encourage digital inclusion which is designed to enhance digital development of the economy and the entire society. The centrepiece is a scheme of “digital vouchers” for students and adults over 55 to buy digital devices and attend digital literacy courses.
