Basescu:EU, NATO should make Ukraine available military hardware, lest army become cannon fodder

Romanian President Traian Basescu said on Saturday he would argue, when attending the European Council later in the day, for the European Union and NATO to make Ukraine available military hardware, lest its army become "cannon fodder".

Hackers Attack European Central Bank's Website

The website of the European Central Bank (ECB) has been hacked, resulting in the theft of email addresses and other contact data.

Hackers have stolen e-mail addresses of thousands of website visitors and contacts of journalists and participants of ECB’s events, the bank’s officials said Thursday, adding that the police have started investigating the case.

VIDEO: Istanbul bus driver’s license canceled after being caught reading book while driving

The license of a municipality bus driver in Istanbul has been cancelled after amateur video footage emerged showing him reading a book while driving.

The driver, whose identity has not been revealed, is seen in the video speaking on the phone and later reading his book while driving the bus, on the route between the city’s Ümraniye and Taşdelen neighborhoods.

By 2020 75% of Bulgarians To Use Internet and E-Services

Bulgaria's Government approved a plan for the construction of next generation broadband internet infrastructure, reports Dnes.bg.

It must provide access to internet with speed of 30+ Mb/s to the entire population. 

At least 50% of the households and 80% of the businesses must have access to speeds of 100 Mb/s by 2020, according to the plan.
