Bulgarian PM Borissov Arrived in Egypt to Participate in the EU-Arab League Meeting

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov arrived in Sharm El-Sheikh for the first EU-US Summit of Heads of State and Government and the League of Arab States (LAD), reported NOVA TV. 

The Forum aims to highlight the need for enhanced strategic relations between the EU and the Arab world, as well as to set guidelines for addressing global challenges.

Greece offers condolences over North Macedonia bus crash

Greece's foreign ministry expressed its condolences over the deadly bus crash in North Macedonia on Wednesday night that killed 14 people and injured dozens more.

"Deeply saddened by tragic road accident on the Skopje-Tetovo highway. Our thoughts go out to the victims' families and loved ones," the ministry said in a tweet.

Athens event focuses on what it's like to be a woman ambassador

There is no question of the benefits of having women in high places and in 2000 the United National Security Council adopted a resolution reaffirming the "important role of women in the prevention and resolution of conflicts." Powerful women were celebrated at an event in Athens last week where the guest speakers were four female ambassadors who represent their respective countries in Greece.

The United Kingdom's decision to quit the European Union will not change her status as a global power and her ambitions in foreign policy, a high-ranking British diplomat has said, stressing that British diplomacy is preparing for the new era by re-focusing on the kingdom's ties with its traditional allies, like Turkey, and the 52-member Commonwealth.
