Hamas, Fatah discuss post-war Gaza in Cairo talks
Senior officials from Palestinian factions Fatah and Hamas met in Cairo on Nov. 2 to discuss forming a committee to manage Gaza's governance in the aftermath of the war, Egypt's Al Qahera News TV has quoted a security source as saying.

FM attends Jordan meeting on Gaza crisis
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Sept. 18 participated in a high-level meeting of a delegation jointly designed by the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League to address the Gaza war.
The delegation dubbed the "contact group" comprises foreign ministers from Türkiye, Palestine, Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Indonesia and Nigeria.

Blinken due in Cairo to seek Gaza cease-fire
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is scheduled to arrive in Cairo on Wednesday to meet top Egyptian officials to discuss and push efforts for a possible cease-fire in Gaza.
The visit marks his 10th trip to the Middle East since Israel launched its deadly war on Gaza on Oct. 7.

Hamas says Biden remarks 'green light' for Israel to continue war
Hamas on Tuesday condemned U.S. President Joe Biden's assertion that the group was withdrawing from a Gaza truce agreement , labeling his comments as a "green light" for Israel to continue its military actions.
The Palestinian militant organization stated that Biden's "misleading claims... do not reflect the true position of the movement, which is keen to reach a ceasefire" deal.
Blinken Announces Israel's Acceptance of Ceasefire Proposal, Urges Hamas to Join
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced on Monday that Israel has agreed to a bridging proposal aimed at advancing ceasefire talks, and urged Hamas to do the same before further negotiations set for later this week. Speaking from Tel Aviv, Blinken revealed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed Israel's acceptance of the proposal during a constructive meeting.
