The government will disburse BGN 100 000 (EUR 51 045) to paralympic athletes, Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has said.

Thanasis Constantinidis will be Greece's flag bearer in the closing ceremony of the 2016 Paralympics in Rio in the early hours of Monday (Greek time), after winning two of Greece's 13 medals in the Games that concluded on Sunday.

BELGRADE - Table tennis player Borislava Peric Rankovic and shooter Dragan Ristic were declared the best paralympic athletes of 2014 on Tuesday.

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Youth and Sports Vanja Udovicic and President of Paralympic Committee of Serbia (POKS) Zoran Micovic signed a funding agreement on Wednesday, based on which the Paralympians will be allocated RSD 42 million (EUR 1 = RSD 116) from the state budget this year.
