Journalists’ Abductions, Killings in Kosovo ‘Not Properly Investigated’
International missions in Kosovo did not conduct proper investigations to establish who abducted or killed journalists and media workers in Kosovo during and after the war, said an investigation launched on Tuesday by the Serbian Journalists' Association, UNS.

It was August 21, 1998 when a team from Radio Pristina was deployed to Zociste in western Kosovo on an assignment.
In the car was radio journalist Djuro Slavuj and driver Ranko Perenic.

There was no freedom for the Serbs
Cica Jankovic left the Center of Pristina, in which she lived, in July 1999, after her parents had left. Recalling the time when, as she says, she herself avoided being attacked or beaten by hiding behind parked cars to avoid "escorts", she says that it was a time when there was no freedom for Serbs.
