Justice Minister Giorgos Floridis hailed what he called the "most impactful reform" in the judicial sector during the unveiling of a new judicial map. The draft legislation has been made available for public consultation until April 18.

Ljubljana – The average duration of court proceedings decreased in the first half of this year compared to the pre-pandemic the first half of 2019, the Supreme Court said. Durations have however increased for certain types of cases, such as inheritance proceedings.

All opinions received so far at the Bulgarian Justice Ministry in connection with a reform of the judicial map proposed by the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) are negative, the Ministry said on Monday during a discussion it organized on accessible and effective justice.
