Casualties Mount as Russian Strikes Hit Dnipro and Kherson
A Russian missile and drone assault on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro resulted in the deaths of at least four individuals and left 27 others injured, according to a report by Reuters citing the city's mayor. The attack also sparked numerous fires throughout the area.
Zelensky: Ukraine Requires Intermediaries for Negotiations with Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated in an interview that Kyiv can only negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin through intermediaries. Speaking to Trudy Rubin of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Zelensky mentioned that Ukraine is seeking a model similar to the grain corridor deal, where Ukraine negotiated not directly with Russia but through the UN and Turkey.

At least seven wounded in Russian missile strike on Dnipro: governor
At least seven people were wounded in a Russian missile strike on Ukraine's Dnipro city that damaged residential buildings and water and gas pipes, the local governor said Thursday.
"Powerful explosions occurred in Dnipro in the middle of the night. The enemy hit the city with missiles," Sergiy Lysak wrote on Telegram.
Six of the seven wounded had been hospitalised, he said.
