Dobri Do

 "Grandpa" Dobri, a beggar hailed as a living saint in Bulgaria for donating thousands to Orthodox Christian churches, died Tuesday at the age of 103, church leaders said.

Ethnic Albanian timber thieves from Podujevo, in Kosovo and Metohija, are crossing into the Kursumlija municipality, in central Serbia, "on a daily basis."

Kursumlija's local prokupljenadlanu.rs website reported this, adding that the incursions lately most often target the village of Dobri Do, on the slopes of Mt. Radan.

Severe weather conditions are causing alarm among local inhabitants throughout Bulgaria, just hours after floods hit the town of Berkovitsa in the country's north-west.

The Dobri Dol water dam, located in the Parvomay municipality in Southern Bulgaria, overflowed early on Friday, with a total of 30 dwelling left inundated, local officials told Focus News Agency.
