Euro hits highest value against Turkish Lira
The euro rose to 4.1890 against the Turkish Lira early on Aug. 2, after a 0.6 percent increase compared to previous trading, hitting an all-time high against the lira.
The index later regressed to 4.1730 by noon.

Turkish Lira slides to new record lows against dollar, euro
The Turkish Lira slid to a new record low against the U.S. dollar and euro due to ongoing security concerns and economic problems on Jan. 5, Doğan News Agency reported.
The lira declined to 3.64 against the dollar and 3.81 against the euro, making it the worst-hit emerging currency. The lira later eased slightly to 3.62.
Turkish Lira weakens to record low on dollar strength
The Turkish Lira slipped to a historic low against the U.S. dollar as anticipation of a rate hike from the Federal Reserve saw the American currency appreciate across the globe on Oct. 28
Analysts also link the negative trend to escalating political concerns, as hostilities in Syria and Iraq increase.
The lira dipped to 3.1270 against the U.S. dollar at 08.30 GMT.
