Domestic policies of Vladimir Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday told journalists he was perplexed to witness the "gutless" position of the Bulgarian government which in his words "ignored national interest".

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed energy cooperation in a telephone conversation on Thursday during which the Russian leader expressed his readiness to finance a Greek company that will participate in the construction of a Russian pipeline that would carry natural gas to Europe, Tsipras?s office said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has delivered his annual address to both chambers of the country's Parliament calling for measures to get the economy back on its feet.

As expected, Putin has commented on both domestic and international issues involving Russia.
