Acting Prime Minister Galab Donev called for continuity in the actions of the regular cabinet for everything achieved during the 10 months of administration:

Acting Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Galab Donev, reported on the work done by the caretaker cabinet at an open extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers.

At it, Donev presented a report on the results of the work of the caretaker cabinet in the period February 3 - June 5, 2023.

Bulgaria imposes a temporary ban on food imports from Ukraine, with the exception of goods in transit. This was announced by acting Prime Minister Galab Donev at the beginning of today's government meeting. He recalled that significant quantities of Ukrainian food remained in Bulgaria.

The leading organizations of foreign investors in our country sent a position letter addressed to President Rumen Radev and Prime Minister Galab Donev, in which the statesmen are urged not to create conditions that worsen the business climate in Bulgaria.

"The Bulgarian governments must be reasonable and comply with the decisions voted by the National Assembly." This was stated by acting Prime Minister Galab Donev to bTV.

"The caretaker government has gone to great lengths to ensure that the upcoming elections are free, fair and well-organized, despite the ambiguities and weaknesses of the changes to the electoral law quickly voted by the previous parliament. Fatigue from frequent elections does not change the important fact that voting is an expression of basic political right.

"The state of Bulgaria's finances is stable, there is no danger for the currency board, for the exchange rate of the leva to the euro, for incomes and pensions not being paid." This was announced by acting Prime Minister Galab Donev in an interview with "Nova TV".

"Promotions are going on in the commercial chains with a reduction of food and essential goods by 25-27 percent," announced acting Prime Minister Galab Donev to reporters in Kyustendil.

Checks on the uncontrollable increase in the price of goods in the store network will continue, he added.

Acting Prime Minister Galab Donev announced that in all his actions the government led by him was guided by the Constitution, the laws and the interests of the Bulgarian citizens.
