Turkish furniture sector set to broaden its global presence

Turkey, which made $3.5 billion furniture exports last year, is preparing to open two furniture malls in the U.S. and Dubai in coming months.

While the country's furniture sector continues its existence in the global market in terms of exports, it aims to create a global brand and permanent sales channel abroad.

Emirates to hold Open Day in Athens

Dubai-based airline Emirates is holding an Open Day in Athens on Thursday to cover vacancies in its cabin crews.
The event, which starts at 9 a.m., will take place at the Athenaeum InterContinental hotel.
Potential applicants must be at least 21 years old and are invited to register on the Emirates website.

Dubai Will Allow Alcohol for Tourists

Alcohol retail outlet Maritime and Mercantile International (MMI), a subsidiary of the Emirates Group, has a separate segment on its website instructing tourists on the process of applying for the license. The free alcohol tourist licence is valid only to visitors who are non-Muslim and 21 years and over, Khaleej Times reported.
