The construction of Italy's closed migrant centers in Albania for migrants picked up at sea is several weeks behind schedule, it was reported on Thursday. 

According to sources the delays are partly due to the hot weather in Albania, which limited the working hours of the construction crews.

The women's football club "Dukagjini" from the town of Klina was only recently formed, but has high hopes of success.

The ninth women's football team in Kosovo, their high spirits are on display at a training session on a sunny day in Klina stadium.

Albania police on Thursday said they had uprooted 216,000 marijuana plants over the last six months, almost the same amount as in the previous year - adding that growers have changed their strategy by planting smaller plots, making it harder for the police to find them.
