A protest is being organized on social networks because of the dirty air in the capital. Its beginning is announced for 12:30 today, reported the Bulgarian National Television. 

A cloud of African dust began to descend on many parts of the country on Wednesday, with meteorologists warning that the phenomenon would not start to lift until later on Saturday.

The Athens Observatory said on Friday that one of the largest ever transfers of desert sand to Greece from the Sahara in North Africa took place on Thursday. 

According to satellite images, dust levels in the atmosphere were especially high in the southern part of the country.
