Turkey is ready to provide assistance to Indonesia, where earthquake and tsunami caused loss of many lives, an official statement said on Sept. 29.

Earthquake of Magnitude 7 Strikes off Papua New Guinea
An earthquake of 7 magnitude struck off Papua New Guinea (PNG) on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said, but there were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage, reported Reuters.
The quake, the latest in a series in the region over recent days, struck 180 km west of the town of Rabaul, on New Britain island, at a shallow depth of 10 km, the USGS said.
An Earthquake of Magnitude 5.5 on the Richter Scale in Peru
An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 was recorded late last night from the Peruvian town of Puquio, the United States Geological Survey said.
So far there is no evidence of injuries and major damage. According to the institute, the epicenter is 202 km south of Puquio at a depth of 10 km.

An Earthquake Shook the Shores of Indonesia
An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 stood hit the coast of the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, the Geophysical Institute of the United States said.
The epicenter of the quake was located 187 km south of Bitung, at a depth of 51 km. There is no evidence of destruction and injuries, nor a threat of a tsunami.

Earthquake of 8.2 on the Richter Scale Shook Alaska, There is Danger of Tsunami
An 8.2-magnitude earthquake hit 256 km southeast of Chiniak in Alaska, at a depth of 10 km, at 9 am and 31 min Greenwich time, said the Geophysical Institute of the United States, quoted by Reuters.
A tsunami warning of parts of Alaska and Canada has been issued after the quake, as well as a tidal wave across the western coast of the United States, the US Tsunami Observatory reports.

An earthquake of magnitude 3 on the Richter scale was recorded near Satovcha at 19:51. The quake is felt only in the village of Vaklinovo. There was a secondary quakes with minimal amplitudes. According to the early data, no damages and injuries have occurred.

A powerful earthquake in the region of the Iran-Iraq border in the early hours of Sunday to Monday has claimed the lives of nearly 130 people, thousands are wounded. The epicenter is in Sulaimanian province, in the region of northeastern Iraq to the border with Iran. After the initial quake, seismic services recorded another 12 secondary ones with a magnitude of between 3.6 and 4.7.

A 6.8-magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale shook the shores of New Caledonia. For now there is no threat of a tsunami. The epicenter is 29 kilometers deep, about 253 kilometers from the capital, Noumea.
