An Earthquake in Istanbul
A 3.8 magnitude earthquake was registered in the Black Sea near Istanbul, Turkish private television NTV reported.
According to data from the Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate, the quake struck at 2:56 this night, 18 km away from the Istanbul municipality of Arnavutköy.
The earthquake, which was about 7 km deep, was felt in many areas of the metropolis.

A series of earthquakes on the island of Crete.
The first was felt shortly after 4 am this morning. According to the European Agency, three earthquakes occurred within just two hours, with a 4.7, 4.5 and 4.7 magnitude on the Richter scale respectively.

Strong Earthquake Hit Turkey, it was Felt in Bulgaria as well
A 5.6 magnitude earthquake shook western Turkey 15 km east of Kirkagac, the US Geophysical Center said on Thursday. The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center adds that the epicentre of the earthquake was 94 km east of Izmir.
A 4.5 Magnitude Earthquake Registered in Samokov, the Quake was also Felt in Sofia
A 4.5 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale was felt in Bulgaria. This was reported by the European Seismic Center.
The epicentre of the quake is 61 km south of Sofia, 20 km south of Samokov and 37 km northeast of Blagoevgrad.
The depth of the quake is 2 km.
3.7 Magnitude Earthquake in Vrancea
A 3.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded on Friday night in Romania's seismic region of Vrancea, BTA reported.
The quake was 113 km deep and its epicentre was 68 km east of Brasov. In December, 14 earthquakes with a magnitude between 2.1 and 3.8 on the Richter scale were recorded in Romania.

Two Earthquake Aftershocks Felt on Zakynthos Island
Two aftershocks were felt on the island of Zakynthos on Sunday. The Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens announced that a quake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale was recorded at 05.04 on Sunday followed by a moderate quake measuring 5 Richter seven minutes later.
